After almost two months of closure due to COVID-19, we are happy to report that all 7 of our stores are open and trading, observing all COVID-19 regulations for the safety of our staff, volunteers and customers. During the lock down we opened an on-line store so you now have another opportunity to be a conscious consumer through your purchases with profits helping to fund our projects in Africa, India and Israel.
News from Our Partners
Our partners in Africa and India have not been as fortunate as those of us living in Australia. While we have had government support, a strong healthcare system and wise leaders working together to make informed decisions, much of the Majority World is suffering. Our leaders and their teams in Malawi, Kenya and India have been observing safety measures during their lockdowns, whilst still going out to provide food and medical care for the poor in their communities who have had no government support amidst total lockdowns that have left many starving and homeless.

Neighbours Aid funds a Nursing College in Andra Pradesh in India. We have 89 students from poor village families enrolled in a 4 year course which will equip them to return to their villages as community health workers and midwives, providing healthcare for some of the world’s poorest people.
