In Kenya, Neighbours Aid supports Kitale Family House of Hope, a Kenyan NGO. This partnership has been transforming lives in Kenya since 2007. Our funding has led to their establishment of a primary school, a children’s home, farming and tailoring initiatives, and vital medical camps in collaboration with the County Hospital. Kitale Family House of Hope work closely with Kenya’s Social Welfare, Education, and Health Departments to ensure comprehensive support.
Notably, we are proud to fund Kitale Family House of Hope’s assistance of graduates of the home and school in pursuing tertiary studies, opening doors to brighter futures. In 2020 with our funding, they were able to launch a technical college to equip students with valuable skills for meaningful employment.
Their impact is far-reaching. Kitale Family House of Hope have provided new dormitories for fifty boarders, trained thirty families in poultry care, and rescued and supported teenage mothers and victims of child marriages and trafficking. With over 450 children enrolled in Hope Academy, and more than half of our food grown on project farms, they are making a significant difference.
Together, Neighbours Aid and Kitale Family House of Hope are building hope and transforming communities in Kenya.
We partner with Global Development Group to support Project J396.
