NEIGHBOURS AID BUILDING LIVES THROUGH EDUCATION
Neighbours Aid is committed to building young lives in developing nations through providing educational opportunities for orphans and vulnerable children. The Millennium Development Goals aimed for free primary education for all children. However the reality is that in countries like Kenya many classes have 100 children in them. Some of those teachers tell us students arrive with empty stomachs making learning impossible. Many children do not complete primary school. Illiterate parents in developing nations do not always understand the importance of education and choose to keep their children at home to care for younger siblings, work in the fields or beg on the streets.
Neighbours Aid provides two meals each day and continues to support village children attending high schools and tertiary institutions after they graduate from our schools. Our first high school graduate Joseph began his primary schooling at the age of 12. He begins university next semester. While he waits he is working as a teacher aide at Kitale Hope Academy.
Jewish tradition links the teaching of children with building nations. Neighbours Aid is committed to building nations through our schools.

SUPPORTER DONATES A PAINTING TO NACS.
Peter, a supporter of NACS is a part time artist and has donated a painting which has been purchased and the proceeds donated towards the project in Malawi. Peter has joined us on three helping hands trips to Malawi and knows the plight of the children in one of the world’s poorest countries.
The painting depicts a scene at Noosa National Park which is possibly familiar to many. Thank you Peter for your ongoing support of NACS and children.
