TEAM NACS RUNNING FOR INDIA
In January this year NACS expanded our foot print in India. We began funding a Nursing College that trains poor tribal girls to become community health workers and nurses. Early next year a small team will be visiting and they are busy fundraising for teaching resources. A team from NACS is running in the Sunshine Coast Marathon on August 19th. You can invest in these young girls and their communities by joining in the marathon (gus@neighboursaid.org) and encouraging friends and workmates to sponsor you or giving a tax deductible donation marked J770 Nursing College. We are partnering together to change our world one life at a time.
NACS MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN AFRICA
This month we are meeting our Malawi and Kenyan Directors to plan the next three years for these amazing projects that are changing individual lives and communities in some of the poorest parts of Africa. Hundreds of children and their families have been assisted through education, medical care and vocational training since NACS first set foot in Africa in 2005. Water and electricity have changed the lives of the villagers and improved health and wellbeing.
