NEIGHBOURS AID GOING INTO HIBERNATION
It is with much sadness that we announce that all Neighbours Aid Stores will be following government directives and going into “hibernation” on Tuesday until we are advised that we can open again. We need to protect our staff, volunteers and customers during these unprecedented times.
WE WILL BE BACK SERVING OUR COMMUNITIES AS SOON AS WE CAN. In the mean time we want to thank all of our wonderful supporters and ask for your continued support when we open our doors again.
The communities in which our projects operate in Malawi, Kenya, India and Israel are all in lockdown and our schools are closed. We are attempting to continue our support for the staff and children in our homes, schools and colleges for as long as we are able. Our Directors are doing all they can to assist the people who have lost their livelihoods. There is no government support for anyone except in Israel. People are very frightened and many have no food. Please keep them in your prayers as conditions are very difficult.
Those who save one life, it’s as if they have saved the world. Ancient Jewish Saying
