I have been helping a friend to downsize after selling her home. I established a connection with Steve from Neighbours Aid who has worked with us to donate furniture, household items, kitchenware, books, linen, electrical appliances and gardening items. We have boxed up what we could donate and Steve has arranged for it to be collected. It has reduced some of the stress out of the move to know that what we needed to rehome has gone to a charity and that they have been so helpful in arranging collection

It’s been a while since Ya Boi was in this Neighbours Aid Op Shop and Ya Boi was pleasantly surprised with the changes in store. Tidier, organised and open. Staff have always been friendly so Ya Boi recommends. Things are well ✌🏻

Likely one of the best op shops on the coast right now. High praises to the management and staff. The prices are fair and some are surprisingly really low! Also an incredible selection of clothing and items. Excited to come back soon :)

Great, friendly staff every time I’ve visited. I recycle the frames (after discarding the prints) and add my own paintings. I have always purchased at a very reasonable price, love recycling and in turn contributing funds to a very worthy cause.

Hi.

I have purchased many items over the years.
All well priced and a very reasonable delivery fee for the Sofa. Which is to arrive soon!

Great condition and very, reasonably priced.

Great choice for things and it’s all for the good of people who are in need.

Highly recommended,

The best,

Damien.

Went into the op shop today and spotted a bag laying flat on a shelf behind the counter, not even on display.

I asked to see it and was surprised to find a $30 price tag on it, especially given the condition. It clearly needed a clean and wasn’t in great shape. I offered $20, thinking it was a very fair price considering the state it was in.

The staff member said no. So now the charity is down $20, and the bag is back where it was, hidden away, unsold, and still not doing anyone any good.

I thought the whole point was to raise money for charity. These items are donated for free, wouldn’t it be better to make a sale and put that money toward the cause?
