WHAT DO WE DO?

Neighbours Aid was created to empower communities in developing nations to reach their potential through education, medical care, capacity building, food production and the development of sustainable projects. Neighbours Aid works with local people to tackle the root causes of poverty and injustice in order to provide a sustainable future for all people regardless of race, religion or gender. Our funds are primarily raised through our opportunity shops, child sponsorships and donations.

OUR PROJECTS

Neighbours Aid funds development projects in Malawi, Kenya, India, Israel and Fiji, giving some of the poorest people in the world opportunities for a brighter hope filled future through education, health care and vocational training. Your bequest will ensure that your heart for the world’s poor lives on through the lives you have touched.

WHAT IS A BEQUEST

Someone once said that no one really dies if their legacy lives on in the lives of those they have helped. A bequest provides an amazing opportunity to leave a legacy that will live on long after we have passed from this earth. A Bequest is a deeply personal way that you can support our work, and for some it is an opportunity to make a gift that you may not otherwise be able to make during your lifetime.

THE BEQUEST PROCESS

The process of including Neighbours Aid in your Will is straightforward. If desired, you can even nominate where and how you would like your gift to be used. The first step is to decide which type of bequest you want to include.

A Residuary Bequest

A gift of all or a percentage of what is left in your estate once your loved ones and expenses have been taken care of.

A Specific Bequest

A gift of a particular item of property or a specific dollar amount that you would wish to leave to Neighbours Aid.
