NEIGHBOURS AID EMPOWERING WOMEN ASSISTING THEM TO BREAK THE POVERTY CYCLE.

Kenya Womens Co OpThis past weekend Neighbours Aid was involved in the Nambour St John’s Anglican Church annual women’s conference LIVE LOVE LAUGH. Several hundred women from all over the Sunshine Coast and beyond joined together around the topic ARISE UNITE EMPOWER! Along with inspiring key note speakers Letitia Shelton and Elissa Macpherson, they had the opportunity to hear about the work of Neighbours Aid empowering women and children in Africa and India through education, literacy programs, medical camps and seminars, tailoring schools and women’s co –operatives.

A fashion parade of outfits from Neighbours Aid stores encouraged everyone to REDUCE REUSE and RECYCLE.  Thank you Helen Hall and your fabulous team for the opportunity to be involved. Thank you also to Ange Nennie for a spectacular fashion parade which inspired us all to visit our local op shops in the search for bargains.
